Kathy is passionate about seeing God transform people and nations. Her messages of “Intimacy with God”, “Unity within the Body of Christ”, and “Christ-Centred Humanitarian Aid” are clearly seen through all she does. For many years, Kathy and her husband, Reynold, were co-hosts of the television program 100 Huntley Street and led Crossroads Missions where the focus was on raising awareness and finances that served and supported indigenous ministries in many nations.
Together Kathy and Reynold are the founders and co-chairs of Heaven’s Rehearsal that took place at the Air Canada Centre in 2007 and Rogers Centre in 2008. These were historic assemblies of the nations and generations gathered to worship Jesus, Ruler of the Nations. These gatherings were captured on video and the dvds and cds have been sent to many nations of the world. Heaven's Rehearsal continues to greatly be used by God to stir up a longing within the heart of the Bride of Christ to come together as one body with one heart and worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords!
Most recently, Kathy and Reynold founded a global ministry called World Embrace (W.E.) in conjunction with Heaven's Rehearsal. It's focus is to see the nations transformed through followers of Jesus passionately committed to loving God, embracing each other in unity and together meeting the needs of their communities.
Reynold has been fascinated and drawn to pour his energy into visual media for years. He has captured exceptional moments in many nations of the world. He has been described by some to be a prophetic photographer who helps people see God's heart.
On Reynold and his wife Kathy's 16th wedding anniversary, March 23, 2001, they interviewed a guest on 100 Huntley Street who encouraged them to start hugging a small globe along with their three small children and pray that famous one sentence prayer that the founder of World Vision, Bob Pierce, prayed for many years of his life. "Father, may the things that break your heart break mine." After doing this, during his devotions one morning two words came to Reynold: World Embrace (hugging the globe). As he wrote them down, the "W" from World and the "E" from Embrace jumped out to him. He then wrote "W.E." God directed them to John 17 and since that time Reynold and Kathy carry a burning desire to be part of answering Jesus' heart's cry for unity within the Body of Christ.
Reynold loves to teach and is excited to equip and mentor storytellers around the world who will capture and document what happens when "brothers dwell together in unity."
